Meet Nina

Hello readers! I'm Nina, the nutty little lady behind this blog. Before starting sweating it, I fronted several musical acts that took me to all corners of the Internet (you can find them here and here), and I'm huge fan of Social Media, but I'm relatively new to the health and fitness blogosphere.

After gradually becoming interested in healthy living, I began this blog as a record of my thoughts regarding my health and fitness journey. I've felt so welcomed to and inspired by the community of bloggers, readers, tweeters, and miscellaneous amazingly fit people that my blog has become an integral part of my daily life.

I graduated with a BA in Political Science and Russian from Bryn Mawr College. Currently, I'm finishing up an MA in Eurasian, Russian, and East European Studies at Georgetown University (if you ever wonder why I have such a love for sour cream and fatty food... I blame the Russkis!)

I am a loving dog-mom to an adopted Shepherd-Husky mix, Jake, and future married lady (coming May 2013!) with Mike, my wonderful partner of seven years :)
